This week I had to write the agenda for the Lions Meeting which happened on Wednesday, October 15. We mainly talked about the amount of people I actually had interested in the program. They were very excited about how well I did with the amount of students I had interested. We also decided that we wouldn't join together with the school. They figured it would end up better if we mainly go community based, because we could expand our reach to other students who don't go to Laton High, but would be beneficial to the group.
English Standards:
- SL 1b. Work with peers to promote civil, democratic discussions and decision-making, set clear goals and deadlines, and establish individual roles as needed.
- SL 2. Integrate multiple sources of information presented in diverse formats and media in order to make informed decisions and solve problems, evaluating the credibility and accuracy of each source and noting any discrepancies among the data.
